What’s typically included:
Categorizing and reconciling transactions each month.
Monthly financial statements, including a profit and loss statement and balance sheet.
A monthly review meeting to go over your numbers and answer questions.
Email support for routine bookkeeping questions between meetings.
How pricing works:
Flat monthly packages based on the size and complexity of your business, with a one-time setup fee. Minimum monthly engagement: $500.
Tools: I primarily use Xero, and I’m also QuickBooks Online certified.
What’s typically included:
Setting up or reviewing your Xero or QBO file for a clean starting point.
Creating or refining your chart of accounts so it matches how your business actually works.
Connecting bank and credit card feeds, where appropriate.
Basic workflow recommendations (how and when to get me documents, what you handle vs. what I handle).
How pricing works:
One-time project fee, based on the size and complexity of your business and how much setup you need. Often paired with a one-time books review and/or a move into monthly bookkeeping.
What’s typically included:
A review of your existing Xero or QBO file, focusing on recent months and key accounts.
A high-level check of your chart of accounts, bank reconciliations, and transaction coding.
A short written summary of what’s working well, what’s confusing, and suggested next steps.
A review call to walk through the findings and answer questions.
How pricing works:
Flat project fee, based on the size and complexity of your business. If you decide to move into monthly bookkeeping or a simple catch‑up project afterward, I’ll apply part of this fee toward that work.
Tools:
I work in Xero and QuickBooks Online. For very simple businesses, we can discuss whether Zoho Books is a good fit.
Get your books from “behind and stressful” to clean, current, and reliable.
What’s typically included:
A review of your existing books to see what’s missing or miscategorized.
Cleanup and corrections for recent past periods (as agreed in your proposal).
Bringing accounts up to date so balances match bank and credit card statements.
A clear summary of what was fixed and where things stand now.
Who this is for:
Limited to recent periods, typically one to three months behind.
Organized businesses with business and personal spending already separated.
No major historical cleanup, complex migrations, or forensic reconstruction- those are outside my current scope.
How pricing works:
Project‑based pricing, confirmed after a diagnostic review of your books. The diagnostic is a paid service, and if you move forward, part of that fee is applied to your catch‑up project.
What’s typically included:
Creating and sending client invoices using your existing invoicing platform (when it's a good fit).
Recording and scheduling vendor bills for payment, based on your approvals.
Keeping AR and AP organized so you know what’s coming in and what’s going out.
How pricing works:
Add-on pricing, available only for ongoing monthly bookkeeping clients. Rates depend on invoice/bill volume and the platforms you use; we’ll discuss options during your consult.
Tools:
Availability depends on your systems and workflows, but I primarily work with Xero and tools that integrate well with it, as well as QuickBooks Online-friendly platforms.
I want you to know exactly what I do and where I draw the line, so you’re never guessing.
I don’t offer:
Tax preparation or tax filings.
Payroll processing.
Ongoing sales tax filings for online service businesses (for now).
Bookkeeping for businesses that mix personal and business finances and aren’t willing to separate them.
What I can help with around taxes:
Year-end 1099-NEC preparation and filing for your contractors, based on clean books and complete information from you.
Providing organized financial reports and answering bookkeeping questions for your CPA or tax pro.
What I need from you:
Fully separate personal and business bank/credit card accounts (or a real commitment to get this in place within six months).
Timely responses and access to the information I need to keep your books accurate.
How I support you anyway:
I’m happy to coordinate with your CPA or tax pro.
I provide clean, organized books and clear explanations so your advisor has everything they need.
